I'm not terribly familiar with this equipment, however, after reading a review of PC World in him, seems to have at least PCIe x16 slots. The review did not indicate whether they were PCIe 2.0 capable or not. If not, the possibilities of using a 4850 are probably slim. The best card Newegg had it was just PCIe x16 nVidia was. Part number is: N82E16814162022. If that machine is as old as I read the review indicate (2005-ish), and * really * want a 4850, it may be time to update the board base. You can always call Alienware and see if the PCIe slot on the motherboard supports PCIe 2.0. Hope this helps.
