Replacing a portable hard drive - plug is wrong?
I have a Dell Latitude 100L with a bad hard disk. I bought a WD Scorpio EIDE for replacement, only to find that the connectors are different. The old car has connectors on both sides of a small circuit board. The new has some contact I will not go into the connector on the computer. HELP! Thanks any advice.
Remove the hard drive from the Dell stand. the tablet is clear from the unit. just to give a gentle but firm tug on it. place in the new hard drive. put back into shopping cart. then ur good to go. Hope this helps
