to make Heavy-duty open multiple windows (some programs that run on the Java platform, others in Internet browsers), with a Core Duo 1.83 GHz to be much faster than a standard Pentium mobile processor as Pentium M-740 at 1.73 GHz? Or the difference is negligible?

Core 2 Duo brand logoThis article is about Intel processors branded as "Intel Core 2." For more information about the microarchitecture to be used in the Intel Core 2 microprocessors, see the Intel Core microarchitecture. Core 2 is an octave x86 generation microprocessor to be produced by Intel based CPU design with all-new Intel Core microarchitecture, which replaces the NetBurst architecture that has fueled the Intel processors since 2000. Core 2 also marks the retirement of Intel's Pentium brand name that has been used since 1993 and the meeting of the computer Intel notebook and desktop product lines since Pentium M was released outside of Pentium 4 in 2003. Unlike NetBurst-based processors such as Pentium 4 and Pentium D, Core 2 will not stress designs based on clock speeds in the stratosphere, but rather improvements on other CPU features, including the cache size and number of cores. Intel claims power consumption of these processors is extremely low compared with earlier Pentiums. Processors Intel Core 2 will have EM64T, Virtualization Technology and Execute Disable Bit. Conroe is to be built on 65 nm process. Intel has claimed that Conroe will provide a 40% performance power greater than 40% less in relation to the Pentium D. Conroe processors are expected to be labeled as "E6x00" Core 2 Duo, the E6300 clock speed 1.86 GHz, the E6400 clocked at 2.13 GHz, the E6600 clocked at 2.4 GHz and the E6700 clocked at 2.67 GHz E6300 and E6400 is expected to have 2 MB cache L2 shared, while other models have 4 MB. The family has a 1066 MT / s FSB and 65 watts TDP. Conroe models will be priced between $ 183 and $ 530 in your release. Core 2 Extreme brand logo [edit] Conroe XE The top of the line Core 2 Extreme will be released on July 27, 2006, at the same time as E6x00 models unless powerful Core 2 Duo. It is powered by the Conroe XE core and will replace the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition and Pentium dual-core Extreme Edition. Core 2 Extreme will clock speed of 2.93 GHz and 1066 MT / s FSB, although it was initially expected to reach 3.33 GHz and 1333 MT / s. The TDP for this family will be 75 to 80 watts. According to leaked Intel roadmaps, Core 2 Extreme X6800 will be priced at $ 999. Like the desktop Core 2 Duo, which will include 4 MB shared L2 cache available. This means the only difference between the regular Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme is the clock speed, which is unusual for the "Extreme Edition." Previous editions of Intel Extreme all included a special feature, such as increasing the FSB, L2 cache over, or a single technology such as Hyper-Threading technology. Intel has stated that the first version of Merom is drop-in compatible with the current Core Duo platform, which requires more than a BIOS upgrade.
