XPS is Dell Studio 16 a good choice for a laptop?

I did my research, but I still I can not decide if I should buy or no. I need someones opinion!

If you can afford it, hell yeah!! Get the biggest hard drive, most of RAM, and the best processor you can afford. (Do not forget a good battery!) Please note, however, a laptop as big as this will weigh heavily. Laptops were designed to be portable, but can be tedious fast. Especially if you take a whole day. I have an Inspiron 1545 that I've been on campus all day, and is quite strong. I will get a netbook as a lightweight add-on that I can carry around without dragging. If you want the best of both worlds, get a Mac (Power and Light). Otherwise, male and carry big laptop around, or else pay an extra $ 200 - $ 300 for a netbook. Do not think you can use a netbook as their primary computer, however. They are not powerful enough and do not come with a CD. A netbook is only a supplement to the powerful system that has more (or larger desktop or laptop). Do not let me discourage people from getting a great laptop (The studies are a step up from Inspirons), but I just wanted to let you know what you're getting.
