How can I get updates for Windows Vista quickly or all at once?

A couple of months ago, reinstall Windows Vista. I plan to change to Windows 7, but I need all Vista updates before it can go because of their required / preferred. My computer is behind several months on Windows Vista upgrades. I wondered if there was a way to get my updates all at once or faster Windows Update not only because, as you know, in view every time you update, you have to restart the comp before you can upgrade again. Any help is appreciated.

Vista lets just download all updates, then install, you can change settings in Windows Update.
